Troubleshooting for Install

If the calculator tells you that the memory is full then that’s what is, you have to clear the memory.

You have to clear the memory twice like instructed, then possibly the archives is somehow a bit full or taken,

So:

To make sure the archive section is clear do this:

1) Clear calculator memory twice like instructed

2) Load one program into “ram” of the calculator (dont change it to archives)

3) Press the 2nd key

4) Press VAR-LINK (the minus key)

5) Press down cursor arrow (to highlight program)

6) Press F1

7) Choose 8 “Archive Variable”

Now try to load all programs changing to “Archives” first

I’m getting an error USB & Comm Error Insufficient memory (8c08000C0)
It’s possible you are trying to load both Calculus I and Calculus II & III at the same time, each series must be loaded separate. I am currently working on the ability to load both programs at the same time

When I do index 8() I get an Error: Invalid label
Load the programs again seperately

I’m having difficulties installing. There is a security issue with folders on the TI and asks to skip or rename the folder.
When loading into Archives, sometimes you can’t reload an individual program into it. The problem can sometimes be solved by going into the program Archives:
2nd
VAR-LINK (minus key)
scroll to the program
F1
1
ENTER
This will delete that particular program and them be able to re-load the same program individually
I would suggest when updating programs to load the whole series again. Clearing the calculator a number of times can work as well as restarting your computer.

About 50% of the calc 2,3 programs failed to install saying “(xxxxxx) is protected” and the only options I have are either to (rename) or (skip).
Clear the calculator as per the instructions included with the programs… do a re-install.

Tom...I think that I’m finally done with Calculus II. In the prior test I got 78 and yesterday I finished all the problem on the test. I think I should be able to remain around the same grade. Thank you so much for your help; your programs really made the difference. They didn’t just solve the problems for you, in my case, they gave me the confidence and security I had lost with those stupid professors and the way they teach. To be honest, studying the programs on my calculator taught me how to solve problems that I couldn’t do before due to the way they were presented. I felt confident and secure yesterday, and it only possible because either I remember how to do the problems or the calculator would. Thanks one more time for time, dedication and quick responses. Tommy, Great talking with you last night. I already liked you for developing this “most excellent program” but after our conversation I concluded you to be a great guy. I’ve been playing with this program most of the night, took in a few “z’s” and am back for more. This program really is superb. I did, however, notice that for some unknown reason when I attempt to do Relative Extrema’s and Trajectories that both programs came up as “Program not Found”. I’m not sure if I will be encountering the Trajectory stuff in this semester of Calculus but I do have a test this Thursday that includes Relative Extrema. Any suggestion, oh Master of this great creation?! I’m going to be gone most the day but should be home late afternoon if you got time to call. Same number (843-xxx-xxxx). Tom is the man! His program is helping me pass my calculus class. He was willing to help me immediately when I couldn't get one of the programs working! This application is in my opinion a STEAL! I've never met Tom in person but I'll owe passing this class to every step calculus.
